FDA finally takes action against over-the-counter "hCG" scams
Over one year ago, we warned our patients about fake over-the-counter "hCG" products. Finally, last week, the FDA cracked down on a few of the companies selling"hCG" and falsely suggesting it was similar to prescription hCG. Please warn your friends and family who may fall prey to these scams: Over-the-counter or online hCG is fake. True hCG is a drug, by prescription, and should only used under medical supervision.
